"Keepers Cottage is a really lovely place, amazing views over the estate, great location, easy drive to Castle Douglas for shops/amenities and walks in the Galloway Forest - we were even lucky enough to see the Milky Way on a clear night during our week there. Cozy welcoming kitchen, loved the Aga, powerful showers and comfy beds! The garden is a real suntrap too!"

The house is beautiful, as is the view. Every day we watched Kites soar and land on the trees. Quite lovely!
We loved the log burner. Very welcoming on cold January nights, and an abundance of logs to put on it.

"The Lodge is a wonderful place to stay and we didn't want to leave! From leaving the main road there many 'wow' moments as you arrive. The long, single track drive through the wood is magical, with thick moss on the trees and little stone bridges. Arriving at the lodge we couldn't believe how big it was, and when we first walked in the open plan living area we all decided we already didn't want to ever have to leave! The views are lovely, the kitchen very well-equipped, the bedrooms were all great with comfy beds..........."
