At Slogarie, we believe in embracing the joys of the fresh Scottish air and the beauty of nature. To enhance your outdoor experience, all our properties feature a charcoal BBQ and fire pit with cozy seating areas. This allows you to bask in the outdoors, gaze at the stars, and indulge in the simple pleasure of roasting marshmallows.

Inside, you'll find the warmth and charm of open fires or log burners, creating a cozy atmosphere that invites relaxation. Engage in quality time with loved ones as you enjoy the selection of books and games provided, fostering moments of connection and laughter.

Slogarie is a place to switch off from the demands of everyday life, to slow down and savor the moments that truly matter. Take a leisurely stroll around the estate, immersing yourself in the abundant wildlife and soaking in the sights and smells of the surrounding nature. It's a chance to feel truly connected—to yourself, to loved ones, and to the natural world.

Allow Slogarie to be your haven of tranquility, where you can disconnect from the outside world, embrace the slower pace, and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

The Lodge and The Coach House both have log fired hot tubs. The tubs are filled with the beautifully soft hill water that has been filtered and is totally chemical free - better for you and the environment. The first load of logs is complementary and you are able to purchase more from the estate.

This is a magical sensation and perfect in all weathers!

Whilst staying at Slogarie, you can be in charge of the chickens! We have quite a few at the moment and they are busy laying lots of eggs. We can show you how to feed them and how to collect the eggs. Children love to do this and it is a great way to show them where their food comes from not to mention the bonus of delicious fresh eggs for breakfast!

We are extraordinarily lucky to be within a UNESCO Biospere. This means we are surrounded by experts who are passionate about the area and their field.

Stargazing is obviously free for all at Slogarie and we are in a Dark Skies National Park which means you will be treated to some amazing displays. For those who want to learn more, you can contact a Dark Sky Ranger who will come to the estate and share their knowledge with you.

More and more people are becoming interested in foraging and the health benefit that it can offer. It is so fascinating to learn about the nature that surrounds you and what you can eat! Please use the link below to find the contact details for Mark who could come and take you on a guided walk and a wild feast!
